The invention concerns pharmaceutical compositions containing as active principle a 4,5-dihydro-1,3-thiazol-2-ylamine of formula (I) wherein: R represents an -alk-S-alk-Ar, phenyl or phenyl radical substituted by alkoxy or halogen or one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, the novel derivatives of formula (I) and their preparation. Said compounds are useful for preventing and treating diseases wherein is involved abnormal production of nitrogen monoxide (NO) by induction of inducible NO-synthase (NOS-2).

La présente invention concerne des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant en tant que principe actif un dérivé de 4,5-dihydro-1,3-thiazol-2-ylamine de formule : (I), dans laquelle R représente un radical -alk-S-alk-Ar, phényle ou phényle substitué par alcoxy ou halogène ou un de ses sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables, les nouveaux dérivés de formule (I) et leur préparation. Ces composés sont utiles pour prévenir et traiter les maladies dans lesquelles une production anormale de monoxyde d'azote (NO) par induction de NO-synthase inductible (NOS-2) est impliquée.
