4,5-DIHYDROTETRAZOLO [1,5-a] QUINOXALINES Abstract of the Disclosure Novel 4,5-dihydrotetrazolo[1,5-a]quinoxalines are described having the formula Image Formula I wherein R and R1 independently represent hydrogen, ethyl or methyl; R2, R3, R4 and R5 independently represent ethyl, methyl, chloro, fluoro, bromo or hydrogen; provided that at least four of R, R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 represent hydrogen. The compounds are used for protecting plants from foliar phytopathogens, and may be prepared by reducing corresponding tetrazolo[1,5-a]-quinoxalines.
