The present invention relates to a compound of formula (I), wherein R1 represents hydrogen or an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group; R2 represents an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, an optionally substituted amino group or a substituted hydroxyl group; X represents an optionally halogenated lower alkylene group; Y represents a substituent; n represents an integer of 0 to 6; and m represents 0 or 1; or a salt thereof, a process for producing the compound of formula (I) which comprises subjecting a compound of formula (II), wherein all symbols are as defined above or a salt thereof to acylation or reaction with an isocyanate, and if necessary, subjecting the resultant compound to oxidation and/or substituent-exchange reaction, a compound of formula (III), wherein all symbols are as defined above, or a salt thereof, and use of a compound of formula (I) for manufacturing a pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing diseases relating to the action of melatonin in mammals.
La présente invention concerne un composé de la formule (I) ou l'un de ses sels. Dans cette formule, R?1¿ représente hydrogène ou un groupe hydrocarbure éventuellement substitué, R?2¿ représente un groupe hydrocarbure éventuellement substitué, un groupe amino éventuellement substitué ou un groupe hydroxyle substitué; X représente un groupe alkylène inférieur éventuellement halogéné; Y représente un substituant; n représente un entier de 0 à 6; et m représente 0 ou 1. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production du composé de la formule (I) ou de l'un de ses sels consistant à prendre un composé représenté par la formule (II) dans laquelle tous les symboles sont conformes aux définitions de la formule (I) pour le soumettre à une acylation ou à une réaction avec un isocyanate, et si nécessaire à soumettre le composé résultant à une oxydation et/ou à une réaction d'échange de substituant. L'invention concerne ensuite un composé représenté par la formule (III) ou l'un des ses sels, dans laquelle tous les symboles ont la notation ci-dessus définie. L'invention concerne enfin l'utilisation d'un composé de la formule (I) pour fabriquer une composition pharmaceutique destinée au traitement ou à la prévention des affections relatives à l'action de la mélatonine chez les mammifères.
