ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Compounds and process for their preparation of the formula Image I or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof wherein R1, R2 and R3 are the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, R6, R7 and R8 are the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, provided that R1, R2 and R3 are not all hydrogen atoms and that R6, R7 and R8 do not simultaneously all represent a hydrogen atom. These compounds, and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts, find use as agents to reduce hypertension, without inducing sedation or other untoward side-effects.
