ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to novel 4-oxo-4H pyrano-[3,2-c]-quinoline-2-carboxylic acids and the salts thereof as well as to processes for their production. The novel compounds possess antiallergic properties and are potentially useful in the treatment of allergic asthma, hay fever, nettle-rash, eczema, atopic dermatitides and other allergic disease. Processes for the production of the novel compounds are described and examples of certain of the novel compounds are given. Pharmaceutical compositions containing the novel compounds are described and exemplified.
