The present invention provides modified nucleosides and oligomeric compounds prepared therefrom. More particularly, the present invention provides modified nucleosides having at least one 5'- substituent and a 2'-O-substituent, oligomeric compounds comprising at least one of these modified nucleosides and methods of using the oligomeric compounds. In some embodiments, the oligomeric compounds provided herein are expected to hybridize to a portion of a target RNA resulting in loss of normal function of the target RNA.
La présente invention concerne des nucléosides modifiés et des composés oligomères préparés à partir de ceux-ci. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne des nucléosides modifiés ayant au moins un substituant en 5 et un substituant en 2-O, des composés oligomères comprenant au moins lun de ces nucléosides modifiés et des procédés dutilisation des composés oligomères. Dans certains modes de réalisation, les composés oligomères fournis ici servent à hybrider une partie dun ARN cible aboutissant à la perte de la fonction normale de lARN cible.
