ABSTRACT This invention relates to novel 5-Rn?Het?2,4- dialkyl-3H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiones of the formula: Image or a tautomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R is halogeno, C1-6 lower alkyl, C1-6 lower alkoxy, hydroxy or trifluoromethyl; n is 0, 1 or 2; R2 and R4 each independently represents C1-6 lower alkyl or hydrogen; and Het represents a heterocyclic moiety; and to intermediates therefor and to processes for their preparation, and to their use as antidepressants.
