ABSTRACT This invention relates to novel 5-(2-naphthyl)-2,4- dialkyl-3H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiones of the formula: Image or a tautomer thereof, wherein R is halogeno, C1-6 lower alkyl, C1-6 lower alkoxy, hydroxy or trifluoromethyl, or methylenedioxy; n is 0, 1 or 2; and R2 and R4 independently represent C1-6 lower alkyl or hydrogen, to the intermediates and processes for their preparation, and to their use as antidepressants.
