ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Quinoxalinedione derivatives of the formula (II) Image wherein R1, R2, and R3 are each independently hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl, and R4 is C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy, halo, trifluoromethyl, nitro, hydroxy, C1-C3 alkylthio or C1-C3 alkylcarbonyl, inhibit release of leukotrienes in mammals, and thus are useful for the therapy of immediate hypersensitivity conditions such as asthma.
