A 6-methoxy-1H-benzotriazole-5-carboxamide derivative represented by general formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable acid-addition salts thereof, a process for producing the same, a medicinal composition containing a compound of formula (I) or a pharmacologically acceptable acid-addition salt thereof, and a novel intermediate therefor: wherein R1 represents ethyl or cyclopropylmethyl; R2 represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl; n represents 1, 2 or 3; and the wavy line () means that the configuration of the carbon atom having the bond represented by the same is either racemic (RS) or optically active (R or S). The compound is excellent in both antiemetic and digestive function increasing effects and is reduced in the central nervous system depressant effect, and hence it is useful as a digestive function ameliorant for treating and preventing various digestive function disorders accompanying the treatment of various diseases.
Cette invention se rapporte à un dérivé de 6-méthoxy-1H-benzotriazole-5-carboxamide, représenté par la formule générale (I), ou à des sels d'addition d'acide de ce dérivé qui soient acceptables sur le plan pharmacologique, à un procédé pour produire ce dérivé, à une composition médicinale contenant un composé de la formule (I) ou un sel d'addition d'acide de ce composé qui soit acceptable sur le plan pharmacologique, ainsi qu'à un nouvel intermédiaire pour un tel composé. Dans la formule (I), R?1¿ représente éthyle ou cyclopropylméthyle; R?2¿ représente hydrogène, méthyle ou éthyle; n est égal à 1, à 2 ou à 3; et la ligne ondulée (?) signifie que la configuration de l'atome de carbone possédant la liaison représentée par cette même ligne est soit racémique (RS) soit optiquement active (R ou S). Ce composé possède d'excellentes propriétés du point de vue de son pouvoir d'augmentation à la fois de la fonction antiémétique et de la fonction digestive et il a un effet réduit comme dépresseur du système nerveux central, et il est par conséquent utile comme agent améliorant la fonction digestive dans le traitement et la prévention de divers troubles de la fonction digestive qui accompagnent le traitement de diverses maladies.
