HA290/280 ABSTRACT 7-OXABICYCLOHEPTANE SUBSTITUTED PROSTANGLANDIN ANALOGS 7-Oxabicycloheptane substituted prostaglandin andlogs are provided having the structural formula Image wherein B is oxygen (-O-) or Image wherein n' is 0 to 2, R is hydrogen, lower alky, alkali metal or trihydroxymethylaminomethane, R1 is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, aralkyl; aralkenyl, aralkynyl, cycloalkylalkyl, cycloalkylalkenyl or cycloalkynyl. A is -CH=CH- or -(CH2)2-, n is 1 to 4, and m is 1 to 8, and including all stereoisomers thereof. The compounds are cardiovascular aqents useful, for example, in the treatment of thrombolytic disease.
