ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to 8-(lH-tetrazol-5- yl)-llH-pyrido[2,l-b]quinazolin-ll-ones having the following structure: Image I wherein R1 and R2 are hydrogen, loweralkyl, halogen, hydroxy, or R1 and R2 are each loweralkoxy of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, with the proviso that when one of R1 or R2 is loweralkoxy the other may not be hydrogen, and R1 and R2 together form methylenedioxy; R3 is carboxamido, cyano or 5-tetrazolyl groupings and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts of acids and bases thereof. These compounds exhibit anti-allergic properties and are useful as anti-asthmatic agents.
