The main object is to provide a novel useful vitamin D3 derivative which has an excellent vitamin D3 activity and has relative small influence on systemic calcium metabolism compared to a conventional vitamin D3 derivative. Disclosed are: a 9,10-secopregnane derivative represented by the general formula [1]; and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the derivative as an active ingredient. [1] wherein the following partial structure lying between position-16 and position-17: represents a single or double bond: Y represents a single bond, an alkylene, an alkenylene or a phenylene; R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrogen, an alkyl or a cycloalkyl, or R1 and R2 may together with a carbon atom adjacent to R1 and R2 form a cycloalkyl; R3 represents a hydrogen or a methyl; and Z represents a hydrogen, a hydroxy or ~NR11R12.

La présente invention concerne principalement un dérivé innovant utile de la vitamine D3 ayant une excellente activité de vitamine D3 et une influence sur le métabolisme calcique systémique relativement petite par rapport à celle d'un dérivé conventionnel de la vitamine D3.
