ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There are described 9, 3", 4"-triacyl esters of the antibiotic SF-837 Ml, particularly 9, 3", 4"-tri-alkanoyl SF-837 Ml substances, and processes for their production. Such esters are useful in the therapeutic treatment of infections by gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria and are advantageously free from the unpleasant bitter taste of the antibiotic SF-837 substance itself.
