ABSTRACT This invention relates to new 9-(.alpha.-heteroarylamino- alkylamino)-erythromycines which possess interesting pharmacological properties and in particular, in general, an antibacterial activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. A process for the preparation of these compounds in described and exemplified. Examples of pharmaceutical compositions containing the new compounds are also given.
