A back-water trap unit comprises a housing having an outer perimetric wall sealed to a base to define an enclosure, and a removable housing cover comprising inlet apertures. An interior wall, shorter than the housing wall, is sealed to the base to define an inner compartment and an outer compartment within the enclosure, the inner compartment being sealed by a cover secured to the upper interior wall edge and the inside of the housing wall. A flapper valve secured to the interior wall within the inner compartment is rotatable in response to liquid pressure to open or close an inlet aperture proximate the lower interior wall edge. An outlet through the housing wall as high as or above the upper edge of the inlet aperture allows discharge of fluid from the inner compartment, while the flapper valve prevents unwanted back-flow from the inner compartment to the outer compartment.
Piège à eau de retour comprenant un logement doté d'une paroi périmétrique extérieure jointe hermétiquement à une base pour former un boîtier et d'un couvercle amovible doté d'ouvertures d'admission. Une paroi interne, plus courte que la paroi du logement, se colle hermétiquement à la base pour former un compartiment interne et un compartiment externe à l'intérieur du boîtier, le compartiment interne étant fermé hermétiquement par un couvercle fixé au bord supérieur de la paroi interne et à l'intérieur de la paroi du boîtier. Un clapet de non-retour à battant fixé à la paroi interne dans le compartiment interne peut répondre à la pression du liquide en ouvrant ou en fermant une ouverture près du bord inférieur de la paroi interne. Une sortie dans la paroi du boîtier, à la hauteur du bord supérieur ou juste au-dessus du bord supérieur de l'ouverture d'admission, permet au liquide de s'écouler du compartiment intérieur, alors que le clapet de non-retour à battant empêche le retour de l'eau du compartiment interne dans le compartiment externe.
