A combined baler/bale wrapper (1) comprises a chassis (5) on which a baler (10) and a bale wrapper (11) are mounted. The baler (10) comprises a stationary segment (18), a lower segment (19) and an upper segment (20) all of which carry bale forming rollers (25) which define a bale forming chamber (15) within which a round bale (2) is formed. The lower segment (19) and the upper segment (20) are pivotal about first and second pivot axes (35, 40), respectively from a bale forming position (Fig. 5) to a discharge position (Fig. 1) for transferring a bale upwardly rearwardly from of the bale forming chamber (15) directly onto first and second bale supporting rollers (50) of the bale wrapper (11). The bale supporting rollers (50) rotate the bale (2) about a first wrapping axis (53) while a carrier ring (55) simultaneously revolves a pair of wrapping material dispensers (54) about a second horizontal wrapping axis (56) for dispensing wrapping material onto the bale (2) for wrapping thereof. The combined baler/bale wrapper is efficient, compact and of minimum length.

Cette invention porte sur un combiné presse à fourrage/enrubanneuse (1) comprenant un châssis (5) sur lequel une presse à fourrage (10) et une enrubanneuse (11) sont montées. La presse à fourrage (10) comporte une partie fixe (18), une partie inférieure (19) et une partie supérieure (20), lesquelles parties sont pourvues de rouleaux (25) de formation de balle qui définissent une chambre (15) de formation de balle à l'intérieur de laquelle une balle ronde (2) est formée. La partie inférieure (19) et la partie supérieure (20) peuvent tourner autour d'un premier et d'un deuxième axe de pivotement (35, 40), respectivement entre une position de formation de balle (fig. 5) et une position de déchargement (fig.1) afin de transférer une balle vers le haut et vers l'arrière de la chambre (15) de formation de balle directement sur les premier et deuxième rouleaux de support (50) de balle de l'enrubanneuse (11). Les rouleaux de support (50) de balle font tourner la balle (2) autour d'un premier axe d'enrubannage (53) pendant qu'une bague porteuse (55) fait tourner simultanément une paire de distributeurs (54) de matériau d'enrubannage autour d'un deuxième axe d'enrubannage (56) horizontal afin de distribuer un matériau d'enrubannage sur la balle (2) afin de l'enrubanner. Ce combiné presse à fourrage/enrubanneuse est efficace, compact et d'une longueur réduite.
