A method for monitoring the supply voltage of a hearing aid comprising at least one electric cell. The method comprising the steps of counting the number of times the supply voltage falls below a predetermined value within a first predetermined time period, and setting an alarm flag if said number of times reaches a predetermined value within said predetermined time period. The method may be implemented using a circuit for monitoring the supply voltage of a hearing aid comprising at least one electric cell. The circuit comprises a first timer timing a first detecting interval, a detector for detecting drops in said supply voltage below a predetermined threshold value, a first counter for counting the number of detections within said detecting interval, and means for setting an alarm flag if said number of times reaches a predetermined value within said first detection interval.
La présente invention porte sur un procédé de surveillance de la tension d'alimentation d'un appareil d'aide à l'audition qui comprend au moins une pile électrique. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: le comptage du nombre de fois où la tension d'alimentation chute en deçà d'une valeur prédéterminée au cours d'une période de temps prédéterminée et l'instauration d'un indicateur d'alerte si le nombre de fois atteint une valeur prédéterminée au cours de ladite période de temps prédéterminée. Le procédé peut être mis en oeuvre au moyen d'un circuit de surveillance de la tension d'alimentation de l'appareil d aide à l'audition comprenant au moins une pile électrique. Le circuit comprend une première horloge qui mesure un premier intervalle de détection, un détecteur qui détecte les chutes de ladite tension d'alimentation en deçà d'une valeur de seuil prédéterminée, un premier compteur qui compte le nombre de détections au cours dudit intervalle de détection et des moyens d'instauration de l'indicateur d'alerte si le nombre de fois atteint une valeur prédéterminée au cours du premier intervalle de détection.
