The bearing plate assembly for a rock bolt has a hemispherical or similarly domed bearing plate having a rim providing a reduced contact area with a rock face and a circular opening sized so that the rock bolt can assume a range of angles to the rock face. A washer is provided having a radius matching that of the plate. A keyblock is inserted in the hole of the washer and surrounding the rock bolt. Its presence increases resistance by preventing deformation of the washer into the hole thereof when the assembly is subjected to excessive stress. The keyblock may be of metal or plastics and formed integrally with tightening the nut or with the rock bolt if desired.
L'ensemble plaque de boulonnage utilisé avec un boulon d'ancrage comporte une plaque d'appui (15) hémisphérique ou bombée. Son rebord est conçu pour assurer un minimum de contact avec la paroi rocheuse (21). Une ouverture circulaire y est pratiquée de sorte que le boulon d'ancrage puisse se placer selon plusieurs angles par rapport à la surface de la paroi rocheuse. L'ensemble est équipé d'une rondelle (17) dont le rayon est adapté au rayon de la plaque d'appui. Un manchon (19) inséré dans l'évidement de la rondelle entoure le boulon d'ancrage. Sa présence augmente la résistance de l'ensemble en empêchant la déformation de la rondelle (7) au niveau de son évidement lorsque l'ensemble est soumis à une contrainte excessive. Le manchon (19), qui peut être en métal ou en matière plastique, peut ne former qu'une seule pièce avec l'écrou de serrage (13) ou avec le boulon d'ancrage.
