A coffee maker includes an open topped jug (10) which is a plastics moulding. It has a lid (12) which carries a rotary cap (13) from which a leadscrew (16B) depends. The leadscrew (16B) has a four start thread. A nut member (26) is screw-fitted onto the leadscrew (16B) and is part of a one-piece plastics moulding which carries and supports an annular separator disc (18A) which is heat formed from a thin plastics mesh material. The separator disc (18A) comprises a major planar portion (28) and a flared circumferential portion (29) which presents an annular concave surface to the base (10A) of the jug (10). A rod (32) depends from the lid (12) and is a sliding fit in an aperture in the planar portion (28) of the separator disc (18A). The separator disc (18A) is driven towards the base (10A) by turning the rotary cap (13) and the leadscrew (16B) with it. The rod (32) prevents the separator disc (18A) from rotating with the leadscrew (16B).
L'invention concerne un appareil à café comportant une cruche (10) à extrémité supérieure ouverte qui est un moulage de plastique. La cruche présente un rebord (12) portant un couvercle (13) rotatif auquel est assujettie une tige (16B) filetée. La tige (16B) filetée présente un filetage à quatre filets. Un élément (26) d'écrou est vissé sur la tige (16B) filetée et constitue une partie d'un moulage de plastique en une seule pièce qui porte et soutient un disque (18A) séparateur annulaire formé à chaud à partir d'une matière de tamis en plastique mince. Le disque (18A) séparateur comporte une partie (28) plane principale et une partie (29) circulaire évasée qui présente une surface concave annulaire dirigée vers la base (10A) de la cruche (10). Une barre (32) dépend du rebord (12) et s'ajuste coulissante dans une ouverture de la partie (28) plane du disque (18A) séparateur. On entraîne le disque (18A) séparateur en direction de la base (10A) en tournant le couvercle (13) rotatif et la tige (16B) filetée assujettie. La barre (32) permet d'empêcher le disque (18A) séparateur de tourner avec la tige (16B) filetée.
