The invention relates to a biomimetic process for coating a substrate, particularly a medical device, with a biomimetic composition, which comprises: a) producing batchwise in a closed system an acidified biomimetic composition comprising a saline aqueous mixture containing calcium-, magnesium-, phosphate- , bicarbonate ions and a bioactive substance, b) contacting the substrate with said biomimetic composition and c) storing the biomimetic composition in contact with the substrate and allowing a gradual increase of the pH to occur and to cause precipitation of salts and co-precipitation of the bioactive substance on said substrate and to obtain a coated substrate.
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé biomimétique qui permet de recouvrir un substrat, en particulier d'une composition biomimétique, selon lequel: a) on produit en discontinu dans un système fermé une composition biomimétique acidifiée comprenant un mélange aqueux salin contenant des ions calcium, magnésium, phosphate, bicarbonate et une substance bioactive; b) on met en contact le substrat avec ladite composition biomimétique; et c) on stocke la composition biomimétique en contact avec le substrat en autorisant une augmentation progressive du pH qui entraîne la précipitation des sels et une coprécipitation de la substance bioactive sur ledit substrat, permettant d'obtenir un substrat muni d'un revêtement.
