2114134 9302941 PCTABS00019 A blank of sheet material is provided with cut-out portions (35, 36, 40, 42), which when the blank is folded along fold lines (6), form respective collars for receiving articles to be held. The fold lines are arranged such that when the blank is folded, a strengthening and spacing ridge is formed intermediate between adjacent articles extending downwardly from the general plane of the remainder of the sheet material. The strengthening and spacing ridge is preferably directed transverse to a line joining the respective containers. Typically the blank is adapted, when folded, such that groups of beverage or food containers are held.
