A bookbinding repair kit containing instructions, diagrams and equipment to carry out repair to damaged or torn backing shoulder joints of any book, the equipment comprising a complete endpaper consisting of one evenly folded sheet of paper with a double-sideed adhesive strip no less than 7 mm and no more than 10 mm in width but of a particular length, with a peel away backing paper attached to the endpaper adjacent one side of the endpaper fold, a double- sided self adhesive strip of mull cloth of a particular width and length, two thirds of each side of the mull cloth being covered with a peel away backing strip and the remaining third adhered to the adhesive side of a scorelined, one sided self-adhesive paper the same size as the endpaper, the endpaper side without the adhesive strip being glued to the plain side of the scorelined paper.
L'invention concerne un kit de réparation de reliures de livres comprenant un mode d'emploi, des schémas et un matériel pour réaliser la réparation des mors endommagés ou déchirés au dos d'un livre. Le matériel est constitué d'une page de garde entière consistant en une feuille de papier pliée de manière régulière avec une bande adhésive double face, d'une largeur supérieure à 7 mm et inférieure à 10 mm, mais d'une longueur particulière, avec un papier protecteur pelable fixé à la page de garde de manière adjacente à un côté du pli de la page de garde, une bande autocollante double face de mousseline d'une largeur et d'une longueur particulières, deux tiers de chaque côté de la mousseline étant couverts d'une bande de protection pelable, le tiers restant étant collé sur le côté adhésif d'un papier autocollant simple face à ligne entaillée, de la même taille que la page de garde, le côté de la page de garde sans bande adhésive étant collé au côté nu du papier à ligne entaillée.
