A brake control device for railroad cars in which a high level priority part selects the high-level signal of such individual supplementary hydraulic brake signals based on such electrical brake power signals of each axle or truck unit and communicates it as input to such electro-hydraulic convertor part. Such electro-hydraulic convertor part communicates such supplementary hydraulic brake power signal as input directly to such high-level brake cylinders and performs reduced pressure adjustment of such hydraulic brake power according to such low-level individual supplementary hydraulic brake signals at such slip prevention valves in communicating such signal as input to such low-level brake cylinders. Thus it is possible to share the brake system equipment from such electro-hydraulic convertor part up to such slip prevention valves, and allow such supplementary hydraulic brake power to be controlled in axle or truck units with the same simple configuration as existing cars. In this way, it becomes possible to control the brake power of truck units or axle units without suffering increases in the number of components or the amount of maintenance, or losses in reliability.

Dispositif de commande de frein pour wagons dans lequel une pièce prioritaire de haut niveau choisit le signal de haut niveau parmi des signaux de freins hydrauliques supplémentaires individuels sur la base des signaux de commande de frein électrique de chaque essieu ou boggie et le transmet comme signal d'entrée à une pièce de convertisseur électro-hydraulique. Cette pièce de convertisseur électro-hydraulique transmet le signal de puisssance de frein hydraulique supplémentaire comme signal d'entrée directement aux cylindres de frein de haut niveau et effectue un réglage de pression réduite de puissance de frein hydraulique selon les signaux de freins hydrauliques supplémentaires individuels de bas niveau aux valves anti-glissement en transmettant le signal comme signal d'entrée aux cylindres de frein de bas niveau. Il est ainsi possible de partager l'équipement du système de freinage, depuis la pièce de convertisseur électro-hydraulique jusqu'aux valves anti-glissement, et de permettre à la puissance de frein hydraulique supplémentaire d'être commandée dans les essieux ou les boggies suivant la même configuration simple que dans les wagons existants. De cette façon, il devient possible de commander la puissance de freinage des boggies ou des essieux sans subir d'augmentations dans le nombre de composantes ou la quantité de maintenance ni de pertes de fiabilité.
