A drip coffee maker is provides including a means for delaying the release of brewed coffee from the brew basket assembly position in a brew basket housing. The brew basket assembly includes an upper basket portion vertically movably mounted with respect to a lower basket portion. A bias member is interposed between the basket portions, vertically biasing the upper basket portion with respect to the lower basket portion. A basket valve is included in the upper and lower basket portions, and is actuatable between an open and a closed position. A carafe is included, and has a lid portion with a lid aperture therein. The carafe is removably positionable under the brew basket assembly with the lid aperture proximal to the basket valve. The basket valve opens when the weight of the hot water and coffee grounds in the upper basket portion exceeds a threshold weight of the bias members.
Cette invention se rapporte à une cafetière à filtre comprenant des moyens destinés à retarder la libération de café filtré depuis la position d'un ensemble panier-filtre dans un logement de panier-filtre. L'ensemble de panier-filtre comprend une partie panier supérieur montée verticalement de manière à se déplacer par rapport à une partie panier inférieur. Un élément de sollicitation est intercalé entre les parties paniers, sollicitant verticalement la partie panier supérieur par rapport à la partie panier inférieur. Une soupape de panier est prévue dans les parties paniers supérieur et inférieur, et peut être actionnée entre une position ouverte et une position fermée. Une carafe est prévue. Elle comporte une partie couvercle dans laquelle se trouve une ouverture de couvercle. La carafe peut être positionnée de manière amovible sous l'ensemble panier-filtre, l'ouverture de couvercle étant placée de façon proximale à la soupape de panier. La soupape de panier s'ouvre lorsque le poids de l'eau chaude et du marc de café dans la partie panier supérieur dépasse un seuil de poids des éléments de poussée.
