In order to produce a built-under sink for mounting on a lower surface of a work top and which comprises a mounting flange that rests against the work top in the installed state of the built-under sink such that it is mountable on the work top in a secure and space-saving manner, it is proposed that the mounting flange be provided with at least one fixing means recess for the passage of fixing means through the mounting flange.
