The present invention provides a caller name delivery service telecommunication system (322) having caller screening and other options. The system (322) includes intercepting a call from a calling subscriber. (336) to a desired called subscriber, as a first option, prompting the caller to either speak his or her name, or speak or punch a pin number as a second option, reviewing whether the intercepted call is on either list, playing a called subscriber announcement requesting voice identification of the calling subscriber, recording the voice identification on a recording medium, transmitting to the called subscriber the recorded voice message, recording the telephone number of the calling subscriber and playing the voice identification in a voice format by means of text to speech or recorded digit to speech technology, and requesting the called party to accept the call by a plurality of different options.
Cette invention se rapporte à un système de télécommunications (322) avec service d'annonce du nom de l'appelant, qui offre en outre des options de filtrage des appels ainsi que d'autres options. Un tel système (322) fonctionne de la façon suivante: il intercepte d'abord un appel provenant d'un abonné appelant (336) à destination d'un abonné appelé désiré, en tant que première option; il invite l'appelant soit à annoncer son nom soit à parler soit encore à composer un numéro d'identification personnel en tant que seconde option; il vérifie si l'appel intercepté se trouve dans l'une de ces listes; il effectue la lecture d'une annonce de l'abonné appelé demandant une identification vocale de l'abonné appelant; il enregistre cette identification vocale sur un support d'enregistrement; il transmet à l'abonné appelé le message vocal ainsi enregistré; il enregistre ensuite le numéro de téléphone de l'abonné appelant et il effectue la lecture de l'identification vocale de l'appelant sous un format vocal au moyen d'une technique de conversion de texte en paroles ou de message numérique enregistré en paroles; et il demande à l'appelé s'il accepte l'appel, tout en lui proposant plusieurs options différentes.
