The present invention relates to a method and chair to eliminate problems of sedentary origin, in which method the pelvis and the thigh muscles of the seated person are supported while sitting bymeans of side parts (3,5) which at least partially curve downwards forming a saddle-shaped seat part. In the method in accordance with the invention the side parts (3,5) of the seat part (13) areformed of at least two parts, between which a central opening longitudinal with the seat part (13) is formed.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et une chaise permettant d'éliminer les problèmes liés à la sédentarité. Selon ce procédé, le bassin et les muscles des cuisses de la personne assise sont supportés au moyen d'éléments latéraux (3, 5) incurvés au moins en partie vers le bas et constituant un élément siège en forme de selle. Dans le procédé de la présente invention, les éléments latéraux (3, 5) de l'élément siège (13) sont constitués d'au moins deux parties entre lesquelles une ouverture centrale est ménagée longitudinalement par rapport à l'élément siège (13).
