The invention relates to a child resistant carton package for a pharmaceutical or like dangerous product. The package comprises an outer sleeve (2), an insert (3) that can be slidingly drawn out of the sleeve, the insert carrying the packaged product, and a locking mechanism (7, 9) between the sleeve and the insert. According to the invention at least the outer sleeve (2) is made of board reinforced with extrusion coated polymer to increase its resistance to tearing. The board may have a reinforcing layer of a tough polymer such as polyester, preferably on both sides of the board. There may also be a coextruded outer heat seal layer of polyolefine. The cutting edges may be protected with a polymer shield against delamination of the board. The same extrusion coated board can be used also for the inner sleeve.
La présente invention concerne un emballage en carton du type sécurité-enfants qui est destiné à un produit pharmaceutique ou à un produit dangereux. L'emballage comprend une enveloppe extérieure (2), un élément rapporté (3) qui peut être sorti par coulissement hors de l'enveloppe, l'élément rapporté contenant le produit conditionné et un mécanisme de verrouillage (7, 9) situé entre l'enveloppe et l'élément rapporté. Selon l'invention, au moins l'enveloppe extérieure (2) est réalisée dans du carton renforcé par un polymère couché par extrusion afin d'accroître sa résistance à la déchirure. Le carton peut comporter une couche de renfort formée d'un polymère souple tel que le polyester, de préférence sur les deux côtés du carton. Une couche thermosoudée extérieure coextrudée de polyoléfine peut également être prévue. Les bords coupants peuvent être protégés avec une protection polymère contre la délamination du carton. Le même carton couché par extrusion peut être utilisé également pour la partie intérieure.
