The device (4) has a first support member (90) adapted to receive a lower edge of a cladding element (10a) and an attachment member (5) adapted to be attached to the building structure (1). The first support member (9) is coupled for the attachment member (5) and extends from the attachment member (5) at an angle to the attachment member (5).
