A B S T R A C T A clamping chuck for tool inserts in particular for screw drivers The invention relates to a screw driver according to the precharacterising clause of Claim 1. In order to simplify such a clamping chuck and thus to reduce the manufacturing costs to a minimum and to increase the durability of said chuck, with the clamping chuck having the features of the precharacterising clause of Claim 1 it is proposed in accordance with the invention to provide, at the end of the female part close to the screw driver, the seat for a compression spring, which acts on a disk-like member through which the screw driver passes, so that during the relaxation of the compression spring it is tilted with respect to the longitudinal axis of the screw driver and the member is hinged at the end of the female part close to the screw driver and comprises a recess, the limiting edges of which are adapted to those of the cross-sectional area of the screw driver, a seat which lies against the member in the released position of the screw driver being provided in the sliding bush.
