The present invention discloses a clearance method and device for the oil pumping unit driven by compound permanent magnet motor, placing the belt pulley which is used for guiding the belt of suction piston onto a revolving support arm and installing the revolving support arm, through a rotating shaft, on the mounting plate of the oil pumping unit driven by compound permanent magnet motor, and clearance is achieved through turning the revolving support arm which shifts belt pulley. With the present invention, it is only needed to separate the suction piston belt from the sucker rod, and then use the compound permanent magnet motor, through the sucker-rod belt installed on the compound permanent magnet motor, to drive the revolving support arm to rotate upwards to restore the clearance operation. The present invention not only has the advantages of convenient operation, saving time and labor, but also is simple in structure and capable of achieving clearance operation without the cooperation of other equipments. With the aid of the present invention, the entire clearance process can be finished just in 10 minutes. Moreover, there is no need to move the tower frame for carrying out maintenance operation in the present invention.
