A cable connector housing (11) for surrounding and sealing a coaxial cable connection, the housing (11) comprising two elongate body portions (12, 13) that surround the cable (51) and connector (52). One end of the housing (11) has a smaller part or opening (14) for accommodating the cable and the other end of the housing has a larger opening (15) for accommodating a connector. The one end of the housing (11) is shaped preferably frusto-conically, to force sealing gel within the housing (11) towards the other end of the housing when the two body portions are assembled around the connection.
L'invention concerne un boîtier de connecteur (11) pour câble servant à entourer et sceller un raccordement de câble coaxial, le corps du boîtier (11) comprenant deux parties de forme allongée (12), (13) entourant le câble (51) et le connecteur (52). Une extrémité du boîtier (11) est dotée d'une partie plus petite ou ouverture (14) servant à loger le câble et l'autre extrémité est dotée d'une ouverture plus grande (15) servant à loger le connecteur. La première extrémité du boîtier (11) a une forme de préférence tronconique, afin de pousser le gel de scellement à l'intérieur du boîtier (11) en direction de l'autre extrémité du boîtier lors de l'assemblage autour du raccordement des deux parties du corps du boîtier.
