The biocompatible, solid- solution alloy comprises a combination of elements in specific ratios that improve its fatigue resistance while retaining the characteristics required for intraluminal scaffolds. The biocompatible, solid-solution alloy is an essentially carbon free cobalt-chromium-molydenum metallic material.
