A coin handling apparatus (1) has an apparatus housing (2) and a coin processing device (100) contained within said apparatus housing, wherein said apparatus housing has a coin intake (24), said coin handling apparatus being adapted to receive coins (cl) to be processed by said coin processing device through said coin intake from a user. The apparatus housing (2) comprises a first housing part (10) and a second housing part (20), wherein said coin intake (24) is provided in said second housing part (20) and wherein said second housing part is displaceable from said first housing part so as to expose said coin processing device (100) to said user.
L'invention concerne un appareil (1) pour manipuler la monnaie, comprenant un logement (2) et un dispositif (100) pour traiter la monnaie, contenu dans ledit logement. Ledit logement de l'appareil comprend un orifice d'entrée (24) pour la monnaie, conçu pour recevoir la monnaie (cl) destinée à être traitée par ledit dispositif de traitement, la monnaie étant introduite par l'utilisateur. Ledit logement (2) comprend une première partie (10) et une seconde partie (20), l'orifice d'entrée (24) pour la monnaie étant ménagé dans la seconde partie (20). La seconde partie peut être déplacée de la première partie, de façon à exposer ledit dispositif de traitement (100) à l'utilisateur.
