A vacuum pump capable of pumping solid, liquid and gas, or any combination thereof, including a drive (40) and a manually disengageable pumping system connected thereto. The pumping system is composed of a two- or three-chambered canister (1, 18, 21) within which solids, liquids, and gases can be separated from one another. A highly flexible diaphragm (24), attached to the canister and sealed against it circumferentially, facilitates this separation, when reciprocating and pumping. The components of the pumping system are designed to be disposable, and the two- or three-chambered canister provides for a highly efficient pumping system that is significantly smaller in size than those previously known. The pump is particularly useful for medical applications.
La présente invention se rapporte à une pompe à vide permettant de pomper des solides, des liquides et des gaz, ou toutes compositions de tels milieux et comportant une unité de commande (40) raccordée à un système de pompage pouvant être désaccouplé manuellement. Le système de pompage est composé d'une cartouche à deux ou trois chambres (1, 18, 21) permettant de séparer les uns des autres des solides, des liquides et des gaz. Une membrane très souple (24), qui est fixée à la cartouche est scellée circonférentiellement à cette dernière, facilite cette séparation, lors du mouvement alternatif et du pompage. Les composants du système de pompage sont conçus pour être jetables et la cartouche à deux ou trois chambres permet d'obtenir un système de pompage très efficace qui est considérablement plus compact que ceux connus à ce jour. Cette pompe s'avère particulièrement utile pour les applications médicales.
