A composition for producing light plaster contains as main constitutive elements particles of plaster in anhydride or hemihydrate form and at least one foaming agent. The composition is characterised in that the foaming agent generates gas after a delay of 1 minute to 24 hours and constitutes 0.1 to 50 % by weight of the total dry mixture. Also disclosed is the use of said composition to produce in-situ cellular plastic and low density plaster mouldings.

L'invention concerne une composition pour produire du plâtre léger qui contient en tant que constituants principaux des particules de plâtre sous forme d'anhydride et/ou d'un semi-hydrate, ainsi qu'au moins un agent moussant. Cette composition se caractérise en ce que l'agent moussant génère du gaz après un délai de 1 minute à 24 heures et représente 0,1 à 50 % en poids du mélange sec total. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de cette composition pour produire de la mousse plastique moulée sur place et des corps moulés en plâtre de faible densité.
