The present description relates to a computer-implemented method, a computer program product and an embedded system for displaying data more efficiently, wherein the embedded system comprises an integrated circuit and a convertor, and wherein the integrated circuit includes an image codec, the method comprising: receiving a string at the embedded system; generating, by means of the convertor, a converted image using the string; producing, by means of the image codec, a decoded image by decoding the converted image; and sending the decoded image to a display device.
