The present invention relates to a contact spring for securing a component having a flange-like edge to a substrate, for instance for securing a cooling screen or shield to a cirsuit board, wherein the contact spring includes an elongated profiled part which is generally U-shaped in cross section and which is intended to be surface mounted on the substrate. According to the invention, one leg (3) of the U-shaped profiled part (2) is essentially straight and extends continuously along the contact spring (1), whereas the other leg (5) of the U-shaped profiled part (2) has the form of tongues (6, 7) whose upper extremities are bent inwards towards the first leg (3) and downwards towards the bottom of the profiled part (2). Each alternate tongue (6) of the tonghues on the other leg (5) is angled so as to form a fork-like contact with the first leg (3) and each other alternate tongue (7) is semi-circular in shape and extends to a point approximately halfway above the bottom of the profiled part.
La présente invention concerne un ressort de contact destiné à fixer sur un substrat un composant pourvu d'un bord chanfreiné, pour fixer par exemple un écran de refroidissement ou un blindage sur une carte à circuit imprimé. Le ressort de contact est constitué d'un profilé en U, de forme allongée, à monter sur la surface du substrat. D'après la présente invention, une jambe (3) du profilé en U (2) est essentiellement droite et se présente de façon continue le long du ressort de contact. L'autre jambe (5) du profilé (2) est formé d'une série de languettes (6, 7) dont les extrémités supérieures sont recourbées vers l'intérieur, vers la première jambe (3), vers le fond du profilé (2). Chaque seconde languette (6) de la série de languettes de l'autre jambe (5) est pliée de façon à former un contact fourchu avec la première jambe (3). Chaque autre languette (7), de forme semi-circulaire, arrive en un point situé approximativement à mi-distance au dessus du fond du profilé.
