A contactor for degassing liquids includes a perforated core, a plurality of microporous hollow fibers, and a shell. The fibers surround the core and have two ends. A tube sheet affixes the ends of the fibers. A baffle is located between the tube sheets. The hollow fibers are closed at the baffle. The shell encloses the fibers, tube sheets, and the baffle. The system for degassing liquids includes a source of liquid containing a gas, a source of vacuum, and the contactor.

La présente invention a pour objet un contacteur pour le dégazage de liquides comportant un noyau perforé, une pluralité de fibres creuses microporeuses et une enveloppe. Les fibres entourent le noyau et possèdent deux extrémités. Des plaques tubulaires retiennent les extrémités des fibres. Une chicane est interposée entre les plaques tubulaires. Les fibres creuses sont fermées au niveau de la chicane. L'enveloppe renferme les fibres, les plaques tubulaires et la chicane. Le système de dégazage de liquides comporte une source de liquide contenant un gaz, une source de dépression ainsi que le contacteur lui-même.
