The present invention relates to a process for continuously and simultaneously manufacturing at least two esters, preferably acetates, by transesterification reaction in a homogeneous liquid phase. The process comprises contacting an initial ester or preferably acetate (1) with at least two different alcohols, preferably of types (II) and (III), and continuously producing by equilibrium reactions at least the two desired esters, preferably acetates IV and V, and an alcohol (V1) thus forming a reaction mixture preferably subjected continuously under a substantially identical pressure to a distillation (D1) wherein an azeotropic mixture (M1) comprising the initial ester (I) and the alcohol (VI) is separated from a heavy fraction containing at least the two esters or acetates (IV) and (V). The azeotropic mixture is continuoulsy subjected to a distillation (D2) under a pressure different from that of (D1) so as to separate off a portion of the alcohol (V1), while the heavy traction from (D1) being continuously subjected to at least two distillations (D3) and (D4) so as to separate off continuously at least the two esters or acetates (IV) and (V).
