The present invention relates to a controlled delivery system that can be incorporated in liquid, as well as, dry granular, or powder, fabric care products, such as fabric softeners, laundry detergents, rinse added products, and other fabric care products, to enhance fragrance performance. The controlled delivery system of the present invention is a solid, substantially spherical particle comprising hydrophobic cationic charge enhancing agents in conjunction with cationic fabric softening agents that assist in adhering the particles onto fabric. The particles can also include a fragrance. The particle can have an average particle diameter of from about 1 micron to about 500 microns. The controlled delivery system of the present invention can be utilized to deliver a broad range of fragrance ingredients onto fabric and prolong fragrance release from the dry laundered fabric over on extended period of time, or yield a high impact fragrance "burst" upon ironing the fabric. The invention also pertains to fabric care products comprising the controlled release system of the present invention.
L'invention concerne un système de diffusion régulée qui peut être incorporé dans des produits de traitement de textiles sous forme liquide ou sous forme sèche, granulaire ou en poudre, tels qu'adoucissants textiles, détergents de lessive, additifs de rinçage, etc. afin de renforcer leur pouvoir parfumant. Ce système de diffusion régulée est constitué d'une particule solide sensiblement sphérique comprenant des agents renforçant la charge cationique hydrophobe, associés à des agents adoucissants pour textiles qui contribuent à faire adhérer les particules sur les tissus. Ces particules peuvent également contenir un parfum. Le diamètre moyen des particules peut aller de 1 micron à 500 microns environ. Ce système de diffusion régulée peut être utilisé pour la diffusion une large gamme d'ingrédients parfumants sur les tissus, et pour la prolongation de la diffusion de parfum dans les tissus secs lavés pendant une durée prolongée, ou pour la production d'un dégagement subit et important de parfum au moment du repassage des tissus.
