A current transformer (10) comprises a coil (14) , a core (12) and a shunt member (16) . The core forms a magnetic circuit and has a first permeability. At least a portion of the core is encircled by the coil. The shunt member is coupled to the core and has a second permeability. The shunt member is continuous and forms a magnetically parallel path with the at least a portion of the core encircled by the coil . The current transformer may be incorporated in to a trip device.

L'invention concerne un transformateur (10) de courant comprenant une bobine (14), un noyau (12) et un élément (16) de dérivation. Le noyau forme un circuit magnétique et présente une première perméabilité. Au moins une partie du noyau est entourée par la bobine. L'élément de dérivation est couplé au noyau et présente une seconde perméabilité. L'élément de dérivation est continu et forme une trajectoire magnétiquement parallèle avec au moins une partie du noyau entouré par la bobine. Le transformateur de courant peut être incorporé dans un dispositif de déclenchement.
