An apparatus for cutting of material such as a piece of meat from e.g. an animal, poultry, fish etc., said apparatus (10) comprising support means for said material (40), said support means comprising a cavity (18) and cutting means for cutting said piece of material to a predetermined thickness and/or shape. The apparatus (10) further comprises means for applying force to said material towards said cavity (18), and the support means and the cutting means are configured to be relatively displaceable in a reciprocating manner.

Appareil pour découper un produit comme une pièce de viande provenant, par exemple, d~un animal, d~une volaille, d~un poisson, etc., ledit appareil (10) comprenant des moyens de support pour ledit produit (40), lesdits moyens de support comprenant une cavité (18) et des moyens de découpe pour découper ladite pièce de produit à une épaisseur et/ou une forme prédéterminée. L~appareil (10) comprend en outre des moyens pour appliquer une force sur ledit produit vers ladite cavité (18), et les moyens de support et les moyens de découpe sont configurés pour être relativement déplaçables d~une manière alternative.
