A cutting insert for use in a wellbore milling tool, characterised in that said cutting insert is provided with means (385, 375, 398, 397, 476, 478) which will co-operate with another cutting insert to inhibit inadvertent dislocation thereof. There is also disclosed a cutting insert for use in a wellbore milling tool, said cutting insert comprising a body having a base which can be mounted on a surface of said wellbore milling tool and a cutting surface bounded by linear boundaries which extend from a first edge of the cutting insert to a second edge thereof said cutting surface having a plurality of ridges (349) which extend between said linear boundaries, characterised by four cutting surfaces, the linear boundaries of which are substantially parallel to one another.
L'invention a trait à une pièce rapportée tranchante destinée à être utilisée avec une fraise de meulage d'un puits de forage. Cette pièce rapportée est caractérisée par le fait qu'elle est dotée d'éléments (385, 375, 398, 397, 476, 478) qui agiront de concert avec une autre pièce rapportée tranchante en vue d'empêcher le déplacement accidentel de la première pièce rapportée. L'invention concerne également une pièce rapportée tranchante destinée à être utilisée avec une fraise de meulage d'un puits de forage. Ladite pièce rapportée comporte un corps, présentant une base qui peut être montée sur une surface de ladite fraise de meulage, et une surface de coupe délimitée par des bornes linéaires qui partent d'un premier bord de la pièce rapportée tranchante en direction d'un second bord de ladite pièce rapportée. Ladite surface de coupe présente une pluralité de protubérances (349) qui s'étendent entre lesdites bornes linéaires, caractérisées par quatre surfaces de coupe, les bornes linéaires de cette surface de coupe étant sensiblement parallèles entre elles.
