A cutting tool for use with a brush cutter, trimmer or like device (1) for cutting thicket, grass and like vegetation wherein the device includes a rotary shaft (3) for receiving a cutting tool which includes a rotatable centre disc (6) which can be fitted to the tool and which includes cutting blades (9) having a cutting edge (10) along the front side of the blade as seen in the direction of rotation, wherein each individual cutting blade (9) is bent down through a first angle (v) such that the rear edge of the cutting blade (9) will be located closer to the ground than the edge-provided front side (10) of the blade when the centre disc is held parallel with the ground, so that as the centre disc (6) rotates air will be pressed down towards the ground and therewith causes the tool to hover or lift slightly above the ground surface.
Outil coupant s'utilisant avec une débroussailleuse, une cisaille ou un dispositif analogue (1) servant à couper des broussailles, l'herbe ou la végétation en général. Ledit dispositif comprend un arbre rotatif (3) destiné à recevoir un outil coupant comportant un disque central rotatif (6) pouvant s'adapter à l'outil et pourvu de lames (9) possédant un bord coupant (10) s'étendant le long du côté avant de ladite lame, lorsqu'on regarde celle-ci dans le sens de rotation; chaque lame individuelle (9) est incurvée vers le bas selon un premier angle (v), de telle manière que le bord arrière de la lame (9) est situé plus près du sol que le côté avant (10) de ladite lame pourvu d'un bord, quand on maintient le disque central (6) parallèle au sol, de telle façon que simultanément à la rotation dudit disque central (6), l'air est comprimé en direction du sol et, de ce fait, provoque le flottement ou une légère élévation de l'outil au-dessus de la surface du sol.
