A device for breaking DC currents exceeding 2500 A has a resonance circuit (2) connected in parallel with an interrupter (1 ) and a surge arrester (7) connected in parallel with the resonance circuit. The resonance circuit has a series connection of a capacitor (3) and an inductance (4). The relationship of the capacitance in µF to the inductance in µH of the resonance circuit is >= 1.
Linvention concerne un dispositif pour interrompre des courants continus supérieurs à 2500 A comprenant un circuit de résonance (2) branché en parallèle avec un interrupteur (1) et un parasurtenseur (7) branché en parallèle avec le circuit de résonance. Le circuit de résonance présente un circuit série constitué dun condensateur (3) et dune inductance (4). Le rapport entre le condensateur en µF et linductance en µH du circuit de résonance est = 1.
