The disclosure relates to a laminated packaging material (10) comprising a layer (11) of paper or paperboard and outer, liquid-tight coatings (12, 13) of plastic on both sides of the paper or paperboard web (11). In order to facilitate material recycling after use of the laminated packaging material (10), the packaging material (10) is provided with layers (14, 15) of water- soluble polymer between the paper or paperboard layer (11) and each respective outer plastic coating (12, 13), the layers (14, 15) serving as adhesive or binder. At the same time as the adhesive or binder layers (14, 15) bond together the individual layers with good adhesion for the formation of a well- integrated packaging material, they make possible the ready separation or delamination of the packaging material after use, by treatment of the material, preferably comminuted into smaller pieces, with hot water at approximately 40-60 ~C, whereby the adhesive or binder layers (14, 15) are dissolved and leave behind easily separated fractions of paper or paperboard and plastic, respectively. Examples of adhesives or binders may be biopolymers or synthetic, water-soluble polymers, e.g. starch or polyvinyl alcohol, which are applied in quantities of between 0.1 and 5 g/m2 (dry weight).

L'invention concerne un matériau d'emballage stratifié (10) comprenant une couche (11) de papier ou de carton recouverte des deux côté de pellicules externes (12, 13) en plastique, étanches aux liquides. Afin de faciliter le recyclage du matériau d'emballage stratifié (10) après utilisation, ce dernier comporte deux couches (14, 15) de polymère hydrosoluble prises en sandwich entre la couche de papier ou de carton (11) et chaque pellicule externe (12, 13) en plastique respective, et servant d'adhésif ou de liant. Ces couches (14, 15) d'adhésif ou de liant lient ensemble les couches séparées de sorte qu'une adhésion solide soit assurée et qu'un matériau d'emballage bien homogène soit formé, et permettent la séparation ou la délamination facile du matériau d'emballage après utilisation, pendant le traitement de celui-ci, de préférence réduit en petits morceaux, avec de l'eau chaude à une température d'environ 40 à 60 ·C, les couches (14, 15) d'adhésif ou de liant étant dissoutes et permettant de produire des fractions séparées de papier, de carton et de plastique. Ces adhésifs ou liants peuvent être des biopolymères ou des polymères synthétiques hydrosolubles, tels que de l'amidon ou de l'alcool polyvinylique, et sont appliqués dans des proportions comprises entre 0,1 et 5g/m?2¿ (poids sec).
