A device for blocking a liquid flow through a pipe in one direction, said device being provided with a substantially spherical valve body, which can closingly cooperate with a substantially annular valve seat, which is positioned substantially transversely to the liquid flow. Means are provided for guiding said valve body in a path between a position in which said valve body is positioned near or against said valve seat (closed position) and a position in which the valve body is spaced from the valve seat by some distance (open position). In its open position said valve body can be positioned almost entirely outside the liquid flow. Means can be provided for effecting a reduction of the liquid pressure within the valve casing, at the side of the valve body remote from the valve seat.
Un dispositif, qui permet un blocage unilatéral d'un flux liquide dans un tuyau, comporte un corps de soupape pratiquement sphérique qui peut coopérer en vue de la fermeture avec un siège de soupape pratiquement annulaire, placé de manière pratiquement transversale par rapport au flux liquide. Un dispositif guide ce corps de soupape entre une position, où il est placé près de ce siège de soupape ou contre lui (position fermée), et une position où il se trouve à une certaine distance de ce siège (position ouverte). En position ouverte, ce corps de soupape est situé presque entièrement hors du flux liquide. On peut prévoir un dispositif qui abaisse la pression du liquide dans le carter de soupape, du côté du corps de soupape opposé au siège de soupape.
