A device for moving a jet member in a first path over a layer to be treated by the jet has means configured to enable input of data relating to a geometrical shape of a surface of said layer to be treated by the jet member and means configured to use said data for calculating end positions (S 1, S2)of an impact point of the jet member for a plurality of consecutive stripes (S) extending substantially perpendicularly to a second path for indexing, each having a width substantially corresponding to an indexing step and together forming said geometrical shape. A control arrangement co-ordinates movement of the impact point of the jet member and said indexing for treating a surface of said layer having said geometrical shape by said jet member.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif pour déplacer un élément de jet dans un premier trajet sur une couche devant être traitée par le jet, lequel dispositif comporte des moyens configurés pour permettre l'entrée de données associées à une forme géométrique d'une surface de ladite couche devant être traitée par l'élément de jet et des moyens configurés pour utiliser lesdites données pour calculer les positions d'extrémité (S1, S2) d'un point d'impact de l'élément de jet pour une pluralité de bandes consécutives (S) s'étendant sensiblement perpendiculairement à un second trajet pour l'indexation, présentant chacune une largeur correspondant sensiblement à une étape d'indexation, et formant ensemble ladite forme géométrique. Un agencement de commande coordonne le mouvement du point d'impact de l'élément de jet et ladite indexation pour traiter une surface de ladite couche présentant ladite forme géométrique à l'aide dudit élément de jet.
